Celuk Village became known as gold and silver craftsmen village since 1976. It is known by foreign tourists at that time in Bali. The gold and silver handicrafts in the Celuk Village had high quality, and can be produced in large quantities. Almost all of local people in the village work as a silversmith and become silver seller in Bali. They are has highly skill to developing the gold and silver design and handicraft creations.
They had gold and silver production entered the local market, nationally and internationally market. The crafts produced include rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and other jewelry types. At this village there are also gold and silver items souvenirs such as sculptures, spoon, fork, and this is an export commodity.
Every day Celuk Village is visited by many tourists and become one of the tourist destinations in Bali. You can see immediately how the locals make gold and silver handicrafts. Along the Village road, there are shops sell handicrafts. Although not buy, you can freely look around the craft.
